Is Sword Art Online any good?
Its 6.5/10 max imo
watch ev angelion and berserk(90s) and then thats allthe anime you need.
I saw those well not berserk but it was kinda boring so I stopped
For getting back in I recommend - Haikyuu, Yuri on Ice, Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress, and Noragami/Aragoto.
how many of those are like eureka seven I really liked that show not so much berserk it wasn't that good afaict
You could do better. I second Kabaneri and Noragami.
I've never seen Eureka Seven so i couldn't say.
Ya for getting back into anime try a new popular show like those mentioned. I think KLK and AoT got me back into it.
Do you have a list of anime you've already seen? Or can you just list them so we get an idea of what you'd like?
Drifters is good for getting back in imo. Not a first anime but good for reminding you whats great about the medium.
Alternatively you could watch sword art online but its more of a first anime kinda thing.
KLK is like, the last anime I watch to completion (lol)
I was joking about SAO
..or was I?
I don't have a list. You can safely assume shows outside the 2002-2012 range I haven't seen.
Oh well in THAT CASE....
The following are musts:
Fullmetal Alchemist and/or Brotherhood (brotherhood over the original tho)
Sgt. Frog (one season is enough)
Ouran High School Host Club
Panty and Stocking
Puella Magi Madoka Magica
*edit - shit i read that wrong. but either way my list stands.

Hatsu Inu. Definitely Hatsu Inu. Greatest love story ever told. Watch it only with the ones you love.
By chance, Fukaya became the lover of a very quiet and beautiful girl, Fujino, yet he worries about the vibrator she's always carrying. "Perhaps, she considers me no more fondly than that vibrator?" In fact, their relationship began when he found her using a vibrator aboard a crowded train. Although they have passionate sex, he can't be certain that she loves him, and feels threatened by her vibrator. Now, the two of them are going to a pool. As she will be unable to use the vibrator in the water, he expects they will be alone, but...
We have a winner.
